The pattern has stitching holes marked for 5mm stitching irons.

What you are gonna need: Tools: Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, hole punch, pair of harness needles, waxed thread. Materials: The whole beret is made out of 1mm goat skin. You can probably try up to 1.5mm but make sure it’s as soft as possible. 1 x lace Hardware: None, unless you want to install little grommets on the vents, then you’d need 4.
