This is the best phone stand I've ever had - it takes very little space on the desk, it is perfectly balanced, and it can hold a tablet, too - even a huge 12" iPad. And it also looks awesome! It is a "Saturday evening" project for more or less experienced leather crafters, although I know beginners who love a challenge but here you need to have some skiving skills plus stitching can be a bit difficult in tight spaces. However, it is absolutely worth the effort :)
Tools: Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, hole punch, pair of harness needles, waxed thread, skiver.
Materials: For the phone bed (the inner part) 2-3 oz any kind of leather that you can burnish the edges of. For everything else 2.5-3.5 mm super stiff (!!!) preferably veg tan.
