Stylish, minimalistic crossbody messenger bag for men is the second bag in the Contour series. Actually, it is unisex but I don't have much stuff for guys so I decided to call it this way :)
It only has one pocket but you can add another one inside if you want. The bag has original way of attaching the strap - without hardware (except the rivets).
This project is quite easy and quick and is suitable for a beginner.
Size: approx. 10" x 9" x 2"
Materials:
Gusset: thickest stuff you’ve got - something from 6-7 to 10 oz. Body: 4-6 oz Straps: 5-7 oz Pocket: 3-5 oz
Hardware:
1 x 1” swivel hook Rivets 1 x 1” D-ring 1 x 1“ buckle
Pattern is designed for hand stitching. Comes with written instructions and tutorial video.
The pattern has stitching holes marked for 5 SPI stitching irons (5 stitches per inch, or approximately 5.2 mm). 5 mm stitching irons made by metric system sometimes fit, sometimes they don’t (depending on manufacturer). If you have 5 mm irons and the spacing seems a tad too large for them you can print the pattern at 96.2% scale. I advise to print one page and try your irons to see how they fit before printing the entire pattern.
