Tools: Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, 1/8” round punch, pair of harness needles, waxed thread, 1” oblong (bag) punch, good to have a buttonhole punch.
Materials: For the front panel and gusset I recommend using medium temper leather around 4 oz in weight. For the back panel - 9-10 oz leather (3.5-4mm) For the flap - 5-5.5 oz leather, medium to firm temper.
Hardware: 5 x button studs (or Sam Browne).
