Transformer Backpack PDF Pattern

This is a PDF pattern for making the backpack, not the actual backpack!
Included formats: A1, A4 and USLetter.

I made this backpack maybe a year ago and since then this is my to-go travel backpack. It is a bit too large for everyday use, but perfect for short vacations. I like the transformer function a lot - as you can see on the pictures you can change the volume dramatically, this is when you like to travel light and suddenly want to do some shopping, you will always have some extra space. Actually, a lot of extra space. :)

Unexpanded size is roughly 18”x15”.

This is a pattern for intermediate level but more on advanced side, although there is nothing out of this world.

The inner bag can be as well made of canvas. It does require lots of buckles!

Pattern is designed for hand stitching.
