Tube Pencil Case PDF Pattern

Once I was brushing my teeth before going to bed and suddenly thought that I could make a leather toothpaste tube. Or a cream tube. Or... artists may say it's a paint tube :) Which also makes it great gift for artists.

This pencil case is a great Saturday evening project, quick and easy, suitable for beginners, you can also use your leather scraps to make it. There is also a great opportunity for tooling - decorate it, put your logo on it, emboss a name, make it a "branded" tube! 

The pattern has stitching holes marked for 4 mm stitching irons.
The back end is marked for 5.2 mm (5 SPI) stitching irons.

What you are gonna need:

Tools:
Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, pair of harness needles, waxed thread

Materials:
Body: 5-6 oz medium to firm temper.
Lip: 5.5-7 oz firm temper.
Cap: 4-5 oz medium to firm temper.
